Good nutrition is the critical foundation for health and wellness in all parts of life. It can help provide energy, achieve a healthy body weight, and improve immune function. Achieving good nutrition requires education about food, increasing awareness of food behavior and eating habits, a good dose of encouragement and support, and an approach that is tailored to individual likes and dislikes. Kelly Aronica offers all of these to give a well-rounded understanding that can lead to permanent lifestyle changes rather than “quick-fixes.”
Ms. Aronica conducts one-on-one and group nutritional counseling for weight loss, disease prevention, nutrition during pregnancy, childhood nutrition, as well as a wide range of nutritional therapies.
As a working mom, she is experienced in building good eating habits from birth and coping with nutrition and body image in the adolescent years.
She is currently a nutrition consultant at Fairfield University. She is on staff at the Darien YMCA and also does private counseling in Stamford. She received her masters degree in nutrition from the University of Bridgeport.
